WALKING TOURS
1. Georgian Quarter Tour
Limerick’s distinctive Georgian Quarter features many fine examples of eighteenth and nineteenth century architecture. This tour examines diverse styles ranging from Victorian, Gothic and Hiberno Romaneque.
3. Georgian House & Garden Tour
Visitor centre, museum, venue and secret garden, No. 2 Pery Square has it all. You are welcome to peruse at your leisure the beautifully restored rooms and Carrol Family museum.
5. Tour of Medieval Englishtown
Discover the oldest parts of Limerick City in context with the contemporary environment. The tour commences at the Bishops’ Palace, the headquarters of Limerick Civic Trust. Here you will view the Hall of Fame Art Gallery by Dr. Tom Ryan RHA.
A qualified guide will then take you through the medieval quarter. Landmarks include The Bard of Thomond Monument, King John’s Castle, The Toll House, St. Munchin’s Church, Villiers Alms House, The Bishops’ Palace and The Treaty Stone.
2. People’s Park Tour
This tour identifies tree, shrub and flower varieties in a tranquil setting. The many historical monuments within the park are also explored.
4. Tour of the North Munster Masonic Centre
Focusing on the intriguing history and work of the Free Masons, visitors will be allowed entry to the building where existing artifacts and practices are explained.
Price includes entry to the Free Mason Museum. As places are limited early booking is advised.

Discounts of 15% offered to groups of more than 25 people or a discount of 10% offered when booking more than one tour. Groups of 4 or less will be considered as a private booking and subject to a 50% increase on price. Concessions are not available for private or weekend bookings. Tours are free for all full members of Limerick Civic Trust.
